Ive been using this app on a daily basis for several months now, and have found it to be the easiest and most enjoyable of the language learning resources I use. The words and phrases are many (at over 700 learned words, Ive only made a dent in the total) and are accurate (I use them when practicing with native speakers and receive positive feedback about my vocabulary), and can best of all, can be learned with only a couple minutes of practice here and there throughout the day. It is easy to find 60 seconds to review your words throughout the day, and I like that I can learn them at my pace. You can customize what words you learn by level or even specific category, and you can learn as many (or as few) words a day as you want-- a couple days a week I might not learn any, Ill only review the ones I already know for 30 seconds here and there. The flash cards come with example sentences that I find very helpful. There are bonus categories, jokes, fun facts-- all in the target language, and you can learn whichever ones you want and discard or put aside the rest. But the main thing you might be wondering is: does this method work for memorization? I can tell you in my nearly 9 months of experience that YES, it does, and to a surprising degree-- I am sometimes amazed at how I just KNOW these words now after a couple of perfectly timed repetitions. I dont know what Id do without this app.
